This is by far the very best auto service in the Myrtle Beach North Myrtle Beach area! Two years ago, we rolled in having problems with our car and they took care of us right away. Steve is fair honest and will give you the truth about what you need to do with your car. They are reasonable and now we take all our cars there. You won’t be. Sorry if you give them a try! Best service that we’ve ever received. I would highly recommend to anyone.

I took my 2004 Thunderbird to Allen's Auto Service for the first time this week, and was so happy with the service and attention I received. Aaron completed a couple of general maintenance things, then called me and asked me to stop by the shop so that he could show me an issue. He put the car on the lift, and was able to point out parts that needed to be replaced, and took his time explaining why, and answering my questions. All of the work was completed in a couple of hours, and at a reasonable price. I would definitely recommend this shop, and don't be afraid to bring in classic cars. Aaron is a knowledgeable mechanic. Marie, at the front desk, was friendly and helpful throughout. We were so pleased that my husband took his truck there the next day for an oil change.

Had the “Check engine” light come on while visiting the beach, so I took my car to Allen’s for a diagnostic. I didn’t have an appointment, but they got me right in. A family member picked me up and not long after we got back to our beach house they called to tell me what the problem was. Before they called, they had already researched the problem and found it to be a warranty fix by the manufacturer. They gave me all the information I needed to call the dealership and arrange for the fix. I offered to pay for their time, but they refused. Hopefully, I’ll never need a repair on my car while at the beach, but if there is a need for an auto service, it will be Allen’s.

We are on vacation and our AC went out before we got here Tues. evening. As soon as we ate breakfast we headed to Allen’s because it had some good comments and reviews. “Steve” told us what he thought it was after he’d tested it and told us he was going to try to get us going without major expense or a long wait time while he measured refrigerant etc. Dure enough it was a simple relay rather than the refrigerant as we had thought. He ordered the part from NAPA and a few minutes later it was delivered. We were quickly on our way. Steve talks straight and doesn’t gouge or try to upsell.

We had a great experience with Allens Auto Service. We were in town to see family and my van started making a knocking noise and they got us right in. They were honest and quick to fix the problem. If I lived closer this would be my go to place for car troubles.
